From April to November 2021, DEPOCEN is honor to cooperate with Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry and UNICEF Viet Nam to conduct the Assessment on “Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and Children’s Rights in Viet Nam”. This assessment was produced under the project "Promotion of Children's Rights and Business Principles among Enterprises in Viet Nam" (or CRBP project), implemented by the Office for Business Sustainable Development at VCCI (VCCI/SDforB), with support from UNICEF during the period 2019-2021. The assessment aims to provide the CRBP project with information on the current status of SMEs in the national economic situation, the main children’s right related issues, understanding of existing good practices applied by businesses to engage, support and commit to promoting the CRBP. Another important aspect of the assessment is to analyze the obstacles faced by SMEs to promote CRBP to meet both national and international sustainable requirements. The assessment focuses on SMEs in the Apparel & Footwear A&F), Travel and Tourism (T&T) industries and their supply chains
Activities performed: Desk review of project documents; preparing data collection instruments and training materials; data cleaning; data analysis; and report production.
